The “Sea Breeze” is, in principle, ready to sail. Everything essential for enjoyable sailing is already on board: the Yamaha outboard runs flawlessly, both mainsail and genoa are included, and two automatic life jackets are also part of the equipment.
Before setting off on a longer trip, however, I would personally recommend a thorough cleaning inside and out, as well as a general technical check. The “Sea Breeze” dates from 1973 and naturally shows signs of use consistent with her age.
The interior was partly modified by the previous owner to suit his own ideas. The workmanship is not professional in every detail and is, of course, also a matter of personal taste. At the same time, I see this as an opportunity: in my view, the “Sea Breeze” is a boat for someone who enjoys doing some of the work themselves, bringing their own ideas to life and gradually shaping the yacht to suit their own needs and style.
The essential foundations are in place: the engine is running, the sails are on board, and the basic safety equipment is included. What you are buying here is not a fully finished showpiece, but an honest Compromis 720 with character and plenty of potential.
For anyone who enjoys adding their own personal touch to a classic sailing yacht without taking on an overwhelming project, the “Sea Breeze” could be back out on the water very soon. The essentials are already in place, so the sailing fun can begin.
