PJOTTER
Breehorn 37 · Year Built: 1995
Safe and Seaworthy. Carefully Equipped.Brief Description
The Breehorn 37 „Pjotter“ is presented as a very well-maintained and carefully equipped cruising yacht, with proven systems that have been continuously serviced and selectively upgraded. The seaworthy design by Dick Koopmans Sr. combines well-balanced lines with calm and forgiving handling characteristics. Her hull shape allows Pjotter to move smoothly through the waves, providing comfortable motion even in more demanding conditions. The protected cockpit offers a strong sense of security, good visibility and direct control of the yacht in rough seas. For longer passages, Pjotter is equipped with extensive safety equipment and reliable onboard systems. A windvane steering system and Raymarine autopilot reduce the crew’s workload on long passages and make comfortable sailing possible even over many hours. Pjotter is therefore a solid and proven cruising yacht for owners who value seaworthiness, safety and an excellent level of maintenance.

THE OWNER OF “PJOTTER”A yacht like the Breehorn 37 “Pjotter” cannot be fully appreciated during a brief viewing. That is why the owner offers serious prospective buyers the special opportunity to charter Pjotter for one week and experience the yacht at their own pace – in the harbour, under engine and under sail.
If the purchase is subsequently completed, the agreed charter fee will be fully credited towards the purchase price.
At the buyer’s request, the owner can personally accompany them on board during this introductory week. Drawing on his extensive experience, he will take the time to explain all of Pjotter’s particular features, including the operation of the instruments, the onboard systems, her handling under sail and, in particular, the correct use of the windvane steering system. Questions can be addressed directly in practice, and all important procedures can be worked through together.
This gives the future owners not only a comprehensive understanding of Pjotter, but also an exceptionally personal and thorough handover – helping them feel confident from their very first voyage and well prepared for the journeys ahead.

Craftsmanship You Can Still Feel Today
The Breehorn 37 “Pjotter” comes from a shipyard where production numbers were never more important than quality and structural integrity. Breehorn did not build anonymous mass-produced yachts. Each yacht was individually specified, and the entire construction process – from keel to rigging – was carried out under the responsibility of the shipyard.
Particular attention was paid to the selection of high-quality materials and a carefully considered construction. Resins, gelcoats, sandwich structures, panels and permanently laminated bulkheads were not treated as isolated components, but as integral parts of a durable and structurally sound overall design.
This philosophy is also reflected in Pjotter. More than three decades after she was built, the qualities of genuine shipyard craftsmanship remain clearly evident: a solid structural foundation, well-considered details, and a yacht designed for reliable and safe sailing on long-distance voyages.
Pjotter does not follow short-lived trends. She represents the qualities for which the Breehorn name has been known for decades: honest craftsmanship, seaworthiness and confidence on the water.

Over many thousands of nautical miles, she has proven that thoughtful design, solid craftsmanship and genuine seaworthiness are more than just promises. Pjotter was built for long-distance cruising – and has proven herself on exactly those journeys.
